An important part of every spiritual organization is community. By using our time and talent where we’re able, Unity of Dayton has provided space for members to do some good!
Share the Wealth!
Every day in the Miami Valley men, women, and children go hungry. But you can help! Just bring in one non-perishable food item each Sunday, (or better yet… a case, because we believe in miracles!) and deposit it in the large barrel in the lobby. Once the barrel is full, we’ll take the donations to the food pantry. Thank you for your generosity!
Days for Girls International SE Huber Heights OH Team
First Wednesday of each month at 1:30 pm (the next meeting – Aug. 7, 2019)
Around the world, girls and women resort to using rags, mattress stuffing, banana leaves, feathers, and even cow dung to manage their menstruation. Days for Girls provides a safe, beautiful, washable, and long-lasting alternative —along with vital health education. See Melinda Hall or Nadine Ballard if you would like to help by sewing, cutting, or assembling these kits. Donations are also accepted. See the complete list of materials located on the bulletin board in the social area. Check out the latest pictures in the DfG Gallery! To learn more about Days for Girls International, visit their website and be sure to like the Days for Girls SE Huber Heights OH Team on Facebook!
Donate Used Medicine Bottles
In many developing countries there is a shortage of medicine bottles, so many times medication is dispensed into hands or pockets. But you can help! Simply place your used medicine/vitamin bottles in the basket located in the social area. Your donations are very much appreciated!
