Join us for each Sunday Celebration at 11 am for music, fellowship, and inspiration. We welcome all spiritual paths and are excited to be a part of your spiritual journey!
An Overcoming Faith
Jesus may have had second thoughts, but once he walked into Jerusalem for his ensuing betrayal, arrest, and crucifixion, the decision could not be undone. He walked forward in faith. Sometimes in our own lives we find ourselves in a situation where there seems to be no way out. That’s when we find our own overcoming faith.
Even though I walk through the darkest valley, I fear no evil; for you are with me; your rod and your staff—they comfort me. ~ Psalm 23:4
Affirmation: Filled with an overcoming faith, my heart and mind are at peace.
This? Or This?
The past recedes from us if we do not hug it to us, and the light that the changing perspective throws upon it makes it a pleasing background for present activities! As we rise higher in consciousness, the whole is revealed as a wondrous picture of the soul’s progress.” ~ Myrtle Fillmore
The Snowman Was a Flake
How do a few well-rounded snowflakes become a snowman? Begin with intention and add a large dose of momentum. It’s easy to roll a snowball downhill, and once it’s really big, it’s not so easy to stop! The same principle applies to our thoughts. With momentum, thoughts become beliefs, and runaway beliefs aren’t so easy to stop!
The eye is the lamp of the body. So, if your eye is healthy, your whole body will be full of light; but if your eye is unhealthy, your whole body will be full of darkness. ~Matthew 6:22
Affirmation: I have the power to change my life!
We Are Stronger Than Our Circumstances
If one advances confidently in the direction of his dreams, and endeavors to live the life which he has imagined…he will meet with a success unexpected in common hours.~Henry David Thoreau
Living the Truth We Know
I’ve read lots of books about sailing, and I even bought a boat! Shouldn’t I know how to sail? One could spend a lifetime praying, meditating, and studying spiritual Truth, yet still feel unfulfilled in life. To master conscious co-creation, we get to put feet on our prayers, follow our inner guidance, and live the Truth we know. Spirit brings the wind, and I must hoist my sail!
If you know these things, you are blessed if you do them. – John 13:17
Affirmation: I move into action and do what is mine to do.
Meditation – The Key to True Alignment
Affirmative prayer helps us to focus on spiritual Truth. And in times of silent meditation, we quiet our thoughts and listen. We align our minds with God-Mind within. Charles Fillmore said, “When the mind is lifted up in meditation and prayer, the whole body glows with spiritual light. This spiritual light transcends in glory all the laws of matter and intellect.” Meditation is the key to all that you truly want.
When the individual keeps his mind in tune with God-Mind, he knows constant harmony, order, success, and health. ~ Myrtle Fillmore
Affirmation: In the Silence, I find God. In the Silence, I find my Self.
Your Essence is of God
God’s omnipresence—that quality of being in and through all of creation—means that there’s also a spark of divinity within you! We are each designed to grow that spark of Light into a greater expression. Your essence is of God! Accepting your inherent worth is the beginning of expressing your true nature.
God is Spirit, it is plainly taught, and the omnipotent, omnipresent essence from which all things proceed. ~ Charles Fillmore
Affirmation: God is good and I am good.
One Presence, One Power
Those who’ve been around Unity have heard it said, “There is only one Presence and Power in this universe – God, the good.” This seems implausible when we see so many things that seem to be evil. What can we do? Simply turn on the dark switch and the answer to this conundrum is revealed!
There is but one presence and one power in my life, God, the good omnipotent ~ H. Emilie Cady
Affirmation: There is only one presence and power in my life, God the good.
Enlightened Love
Valentine’s Day is a time for celebrating romantic love, and we intuitively know there’s a deeper, eternal love. A Course in Miracles tells us, “In Heaven, where the meaning of love is known, love is the same as union. Here, where the illusion of love is accepted in love’s place, love is perceived as separation and exclusion.” Yet we know, the world is on the verge of enlightened love!
Divine love is impersonal: it loves for the sake of loving. ~ Charles Fillmore
Affirmation: I am the Love of God in action!
Saying “I Do”
February is the month associated with love. One expression of love is commitment. We will be inspired by personal stories to trust the Universe and make a commit. Once we decisively commit to a choice, say “I do”, the Universe collaborates and creates with us to bring about our desire.
… The moment that a leader definitely commits, then God moves and a whole stream of events begins to flow. ~John C. Maxwell
Affirmation: I decide, God provides.
Ordinary or Extraordinary
Imagine if you were living to your potential, achieving your goals and feeling happy and fulfilled in life. Maybe you are. But, if not, like many people, you can set yourself on a new path. I’ll be sharing ideas on how to move from what most would consider “ordinary” to a life that is “extraordinary“.
…You have wings, Learn to use them and fly. ~ Rumi
Affirmation: My invisible self is extraordinary!
There’s No Going Back (Canceled due to weather)
The White Stone Ceremony gave you a new name and set you free. You’ve put the past behind you and you’ve set your intentions. Now what? Sometimes we let our doubts take us down old familiar ways of thinking and being. Well, guess what…life’s not a vicious circle, it’s a virtuous spiral. There’s no going back!
Having once seen Truth, having once had the illumination, you find that the next step is to demonstrate it and not to be cast down or discouraged by the opposite. ~ Charles Fillmore
Affirmation: I go boldly forward to my highest good.

I Am Free to Begin Anew
Unity of Dayton’s White Stone ceremony is based upon Revelation 2:17, “To everyone who conquers I will give some of the hidden manna, and I will give a white stone, and on the white stone is written a new name that no one knows except the one who receives it.” In this ceremony, you will receive a white stone from Jerusalem, upon which you may write your new name. Please join us as we begin the New Year with a clean slate, saying “Yes!” to a new life of freedom.
Let anyone who has an ear listen to what the Spirit is saying. . . I will give a white stone, and on the white stone is written a new name that no one knows except the one who receives it. ~ Revelation 2:17
Affirmation: I have a new name and I am free!
The “Buck-Buck” Stops Here!
As another year ends, do you ever look back and think of what might have been? Maybe even wonder, will the new year be any different? A more creative question would be, “How can it get better than this?” Have courage! A whole new year is coming!
The order of creation is from the formless to the formed, from the invisible to the visible. This goes on perpetually and there is never a beginning or an ending to the process. ~Charles Fillmore
Affirmation: I can do all things through Christ which

The Joys of Spirit
According to Charles Fillmore, cofounder of Unity, joy is “the happiness of God expressed through His perfect idea—[hu]man.” You are the radiant joy of God! As we complete our preparations for Christmas, we remember to take a breath, pause, and get in touch with the joy of God within. Filled with the Spirit of Christmas, we bring our joy to the world.

Affirmation: The joy of the Lord is my strength. I am God’s joy!
An Expression of Love
When the world around us seems full of strain and discord, it is more important than ever to bring the peace of God into our daily lives. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus. ~ Philippians 4:7

Affirmation: I renounce any tendencies, beliefs, attitudes and feelings which block my expression of the Christ. I move into a state of Faith, Peace, Love and Joy.
Quit Thinking; Start Thanking
Rejoice always, pray without ceasing, give thanks in all circumstances. ~ 1 Thess. 5:16-18
Gifts from the Universe
You are being offered four free gifts, custom made just for you. There are four blessings guaranteed to you if you get on the frequency of gratitude as explained in the book, Thank & Grow Rich. And the only question is…, “Are you ready to receive?”

Wealth Redefined
In her book, Thank & Grow Rich, Pam Grout invites us to reconsider the way we think of wealth or prosperity. Life quickly teaches us that the “incessant search for legal tender” can’t ever make us truly rich. Isn’t it time to change our antiquated financial system and work with a new definition of wealth?

The End is Where We Start From
When it comes to the seasons it is easy to accept that summer has ended and we are beginning again with fall. But if you think about it, everything in this world has at least one thing in common: it all has a beginning and it will come to an end. Unless we honor and perhaps embrace an ending, it can be difficult for us to move forward into a new beginning. This week we’ll explore how celebrating and honoring the past supports us in moving on with our lives.
Every new beginning comes from some other beginning’s end. ~ Seneca
Affirmation: I let go of yesterday and allow today to be a new beginning.
The Things That are Mine to Do
In Unity, we honor each person’s path of spiritual transformation. We value knowing our True Nature and understanding Spiritual Law. And, we also know the old expression reminding us to “put feet on our prayers.” Today we must ask ourselves, “Where can I put Truth into action? What is mine to do?”
I fairly sizzle with zeal and enthusiasm and spring forth with a mighty faith to do the things that ought to be done by me. ~ Charles Fillmore

All in Divine Order-SERIOUSLY?
Sunday August 26, 2018 with Rev. Cindy White
Does it seem as though life has become more chaotic and the days, weeks, and months are simply flying by? Spiritual sages remind us that the world around us always reflects our inner world, so it is wise to reflect upon what we’re holding in mind. Let’s put our minds in Divine Order!
Whatever there is in mind, body, or affairs that is out of harmony is easily adjusted when you open the way in your mind for the manifestation of divine order. ~ Charles Fillmore
Affirmation: Divine Order is now manifest in my life and affairs.
Stop, Look and Listen
Sunday August 5, 2018 with Rev. Chase
We are three-fold beings: body, mind and spirit. Ignoring the body can lead to an out of balance state of being. The old adage “Stop, Look and Listen” applied to our physical being, serves us well as we traverse life on earth.
Listening to my body and naming what I feel takes practice, but it helps me figure out what I need. The more I practice listening to my body, the better I get at responding with care and kindness for myself. – Gabi Garcia
Affirmation: I willingly listen to my body and restore my whole self to balance.
The Four Agreements Part 5
Always Do Your Best
Sunday July 29, 2018 with Rev. Cindy White
Living the four agreements leads to personal freedom from guilt, blame, and self-judgment. We begin to change our deeply ingrained ways of being and acting. Rather than expecting a reward for our actions, we love what we do and our actions are their own reward! How do we make this crucial change? According to don Miguel Ruiz, “The fourth agreement is about the action of the other three: Always do your best.”
God is life. God is life in action. The best way to say, ‘I love you, God,’ is to live your life doing your best. ~ don Miguel Ruiz
Affirmation: Living one day at a time, I always do my best.
The Four Agreements Part 4
Don’t Make Assumptions
Sunday July 22, 2018 with Rev. Cindy White
Don Miguel Ruiz, author of The Four Agreements, writes, “All the sadness and drama you have lived in your life was rooted in making assumptions and taking things personally.” When we make the assumption that those closest to us just somehow know what we need, there is often disappointment and misunderstanding. To bring love and harmony to our relationships, we’ll want to keep this agreement with ourselves: Don’t make assumptions.
The day you stop making assumptions you will communicate cleanly and clearly, free of emotional poison. ~ don Miguel Ruiz
Affirmation: I communicate clearly and my life is transformed.
The Four Agreements Part 3
Don’t Take Anything Personally
Sunday July 15, 2018 with Rev. Cindy White
Perhaps you’ve heard the expression, “What you think of me is none of my business.” When we can say that and mean it, we’re well on the way to understanding the second agreement taught by don Miguel Ruiz in his book, The Four Agreements. Want to be immune from the emotional pain someone else might direct toward you? Whatever happens around you, no matter what someone else thinks of you, let this be your agreement with yourself: Don’t take anything personally.
If you keep this agreement, you can travel around the world with your heart completely open and no one can hurt you. ~ don Miguel Ruiz
Affirmation: Naught can disturb me, for Christ is my peace and my poise.
The Four Agreements Part 2
Be Impeccable with Your Word
Sunday July 8, 2018 with Rev. Cindy White
Everyone knows that words have incredible power. Like a two edged sword, our words can be creative or destructive. In The Four Agreements, don Miguel Ruiz, explains the first and most important agreement that you can make with yourself. He writes, “You can attain the kingdom of heaven from this one agreement: Be impeccable with your word.”
In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. ~ John 1:1
Affirmation: I am impeccable with my word and I am free!

The Power of the Word
Sunday June 24, 2018 with Rev. Cindy White
The words we speak can uplift and inspire, or they can tear down and discourage. When our words are heart-centered and spoken aloud, they have laser-like power to activate and focus healing vibrations. The power of the word moves us to coherence and spiritual harmony.
Whoever speaks a word against the Son of Man will be forgiven, but whoever speaks against the Holy Spirit will not be forgiven, either in this age or in the age to come. ~ Matt 12:32
Affirmation: My words have healing and harmonizing power.
What Does it Take to be Happy?
Sunday June 17, 2018 with Rev. George Whitton
What most of us fail to realize is that changing our behaviors, rather than our circumstances, can significantly increase our well-being. What we believe would make a huge difference in our lives actually, according to scientific research, makes only a small difference. We may have been overlooking the true sources of personal happiness and well-being. This week we’ll explore the simple things we can do to live a happier life?
I have a Father’s Day every day. ~ Dennis Banks
Affirmation: I am the guardian of my happiness.
It All Begins with a Thought
Sunday June 3, 2018 with Rev. Cindy White
At times it may feel like life is happening and it’s out of our control. It’s helpful to remember the words of the master teacher found in Matthew 8:13. “Jesus said, ‘Go; let it be done for you according to your faith.'” Our faith depends on our beliefs, and our beliefs are based upon our thoughts. Let it be done for you. Your thoughts have creative power!
What you think, you become. What you feel, you attract. What you imagine, you create. ~ Buddha
Affirmation: I have the power to change my life!
As With God, So With Us
Sunday May 27, 2018 with Rev. Cindy White
Our minds boggle when we try to understand the Mind of God, and yet, there is something within us that continues to reach for that understanding. It has been said that the presence of God cannot be explained or described, only experienced as God expresses through us.
As immense and immeasurable as the mind of God is, it is small enough to fit into the heart of each one of us.
~ Richard and Mary-Alice Jafolla
Affirmation: I am open to Divine Ideas as God expresses through me.
Have You Tried the Geographic Cure?
Sunday May 20, 2018 with Rev. Cindy White
When things aren’t going the way we’d like, we may think that we need to change something in our lives. That may mean finding a new job, a new partner, or even moving to a new city. Many have tried, and many have learned, happiness requires more than a geographic cure!

Affirmation: I am willing to be transformed at depth.
Honoring Our Divine Feminine
Sunday May 13, 2018 with Rev. Cindy White
All around the world people set aside a day to honor mothers. It’s been said that a mother’s love is as close as one can get to God’s love—unconditional and everlasting— a gift of the Divine Feminine. Today we celebrate the Divine Feminine energy of a mother’s love within all.
You alone hold the key to release the activity of divine love in your world. ~ Rebecca Clark
Affirmation: I am an open channel of Divine Love.
Heaven on Earth. Where is it?
Sunday May 6, 2018 with Rev. George Whitton
Heaven should not be thought of as a place where you’ll ultimately arrive once you leave this earthly existence. Rather, wouldn’t it be wonderful to create a Heaven on Earth experience right here and right now. Do you feel as if you’re in a Heavenly world? If the answer is “no”, you’ve probably made your physical world the primary focus of your life, with little or no attention given to the Heavenly part of your earthly existence. Heaven is a state of mind, not a location. Spirit is everywhere and in everything. You can begin equalizing your material and spiritual life by making a conscious decision to look for the unfolding of Spirit in everything and everyone that you encounter. This Sunday we’ll be exploring ways to re-frame our experiences, perceptions and challenges to better create a more “Heaven on Earth” experience.
The greater danger is not that your hopes and dreams are too high and you fail to reach them; it’s that your hopes and dreams are too low and you do reach them. – Michelangelo
Affirmation: I look for the good and I create it!
