Greetings Friends,

Easter Egg HuntSpringtime brings with it a renewed sense of light, life, and hope. The energy is rising here at Unity of Dayton as well. I’m excited to tell you some of the things we have in store for you this month.

First of all, thanks to those who contributed to the Silent Auction to raise funds for our new roof. Nine of the ten items sold! Generous donors have given other things for our next silent action, so we’ll do it again soon! As of May 1, the total in our Roof Fund is $13,784.80. Way to go!

Here’s what’s happening on Sundays in May…. We’ll continue our study of Edwene Gaines’ book, “The Four Spiritual Laws of Prosperity”, and on May 8th we celebrate Mother’s Day. We honor all mothers and those who fill the role of mother in our lives. The following Sunday, May 15th, multi-platinum singer/songwriter Jana Stanfield will be giving her message in music at our 11am service. If you stay for lunch and her concert at 1 pm, you will truly be blessed! On May 22nd, our special guest speaker is Rev. George Whitton, so please come out and welcome him home. Finally, on May 29th, the Great Ball of Fire Gospel Choir performs and lifts our spirits higher. If you’d like to sing with them, be at Unity for their rehearsals on Thursday (12th, 19th, and 23rd) at 7 pm.

Continuing our theme of Healing and Wholeness in 2016, Rev. Sue Bryan, Dye DeLong, and the Prayer Team are facilitating a healing labyrinth walk on Saturday, May 21st at 4 pm. In addition to the opportunity to walk our own expansive outdoor grass labyrinth, we also offer labyrinth coloring sheets and finger labyrinths. I invite you to join us for this time of sacred healing.

All of the events and activities at Unity of Dayton are possible because YOU offer your time, talent, and treasure to our spiritual community. Whether it’s bringing cookies for sharing on the first Sunday of each month, donating large cardboard boxes to cover the playground in preparation for mulching, or buying a raffle ticket for Bob Coates’ sculpture, “Body, Mind, and Spirit,” you make a difference to your friends and family in Unity. You are my spiritual family and I love you! I feel honored to serve this loving, committed spiritual community.

In loving service,

Rev. Cindy

Our prosperity affirmation:
God is the Source of Unity of Dayton’s limitless supply. As the Spirit of God works in, through, and as me, I gratefully receive and generously give. I live in appreciation and am prospered in all my ways.
Thank you God!
